Emmanuel Adam was born near 
Nancy, France and has been living and working in the Netherlands for more than 20 years.
Emmanuel’s dominant and favourite color is blue which he uses in many tones and hues. Painters that inspire him include Turner, Modigliani and de Staël.
For many years, he has dedicated his free time to painting in acrylic and oil, specializing in land and seascapes, the natural world, the female form, painting both in realistic and abstract form.
Emmanuel Adam: “My paintings are inspired by some of my favourite places such as Brittany, Picardy, Provence, Chile or The Netherlands; painting makes me want to travel and travelling makes me want to paint”.
He developed his skills in several courses abroad and for the past five years with Margarita Garcés, a well known painter and teacher of painting, living in The Hague.
Exhibitions held in the Netherlands: Artex (EPO) in 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009 and at the Star Galerie 2010.
